Motorola Edge 30 Pro was just launched in India. It is the successor to the Motorola Edge 20 Pro, which was launched in the country last year. The device comes with flagship specifications like a 144Hz pOLED display, 68W fast charging, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, and more, but at the same time does not cost a bomb.
The device will take on the Asus ROG Phone 5s, Vivo X70 Pro, and the iQOO 9 in the country. Here we will be taking a look at everything we know about the new smartphone.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro: Price in India
Motorola Edge 30 Pro is priced at Rs 49,999 for the sole 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. It will be made available via Flipkart and leading retail stores starting March 4 in Cosmos Blue and Stardust White colour options.
Launch offers include a flat Rs 5,000 discount on Flipkart and a Rs 5,000 cashback in retail stores on purchasing the device using an SBI Bank credit/debit card. Reliance Jio customers will get additional benefits worth Rs 10,000. Apart from these, the device will be made available with no-cost EMI options for up to nine months for select bank cardholders.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro: Specifications
Motorola Edge 30 Pro sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and DCI-P3 colour space. The display is protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with an anti-fingerprint coating. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device does not support expandable storage.
It runs Google's Android 12 operating system with an almost stock user interface (UI) that has minor tweaks like added gesture support. For security, the device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock. All of this is backed by a 4,800mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast wired charging. The company claims that the device can be charged from zero to 50 percent within 15 minutes. The device also comes with support for 15W wireless charging and 5W wireless power-sharing.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro sports a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with omnidirectional phase-detection autofocus and optical image stabilisation (OIS). Apart from the primary sensor, the device features another 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra wide angle lens on top and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera features a 60-megapixel sensor for shooting selfies.
Some other features include dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, an IP52 dust and a water-resistant rating. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
