Reliance Jio recently offered consumers its Jio Phone at the price of Rs. 699 during the Diwali festive season. The offer was supposed to come to an end by the end of October. However, the company has now announced that due to the overwhelmingly positive response it got for the offer, it is extending it by another month. Now consumers can avail the offer till the end of November.
Under this offer, the company is offering consumers Rs 801 as a price cut along with Rs. 693 worth of benefits. Totalling this gives users an effective benefit of Rs. 1,494, bringing the effective cost to Rs. 6. The Rs. 693 worth of benefits will not be provided to the customers upfront, instead, they will be offered as seven Rs. 99 recharge vouchers, added in the MyJio app.

To recapitulate, the Jio Phone sports a 2.4-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. The device comes with 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It runs KaiOS and is backed by a removable 2,000mAh battery. The Jio Phone comes with a lot of apps that make the phone compete with entry-level smartphones, these apps include Google Assistant, Facebook, Google Maps, WhatsApp and YouTube just to name a few.
