Revolt Intellicorp Pvt. Ltd was founded by Rahul Sharma who is known for the Micromax mobile brand in India. He wanted to introduce the first artificial intelligence-enabled electric motorcycle in India. He also said that the bike will be offering a range of 156.8 km on a single full charge.
The Revolt comes with a hexagonal LED projector headlamp, which is powerful enough to focus on the road. The upper part of the tank comes with the lid where the battery can be removed and replaced. Revolt motorcycles have a fully digital instrument cluster, which indicates speed, odometer, trip meter, battery percentage, engine temperature and more.
These electric bikes can travel at a maximum speed of 85kmph, which is quite impressive. Also, the Revolt offers four separate artificial exhaust sounds in the motorcycle. The company is providing Revolt App that users can install on their phones to enable features like bike locator, door-step battery delivery, mobile swap stations, anti-theft, sound selection and more. It is available for both Andriod and iOS devices.
The motorcycle supports RBS (Regenerative Braking System) with USD front forks and a mono-shock unit at the rear. It sports 8-spoke 17inch alloy wheels with the disc brakes which are made up of steel and aluminium. Usage of aluminium will reduce the weight of the bike and as less mass means less energy consumed to move the bike.
Revolt RV 400 comes in two colour variants, Rebel Red and Cosmic Black. The battery is a 3.2kWh lithium-ion unit which is more than the Ather's 450's battery.
The RV300 will be available for a monthly price of Rs. 2,999, which has to be paid for 37 months from the date of purchase. Similarly, the RV400 Basic and RV400 Premium are available for Rs. 3,499 and Rs. 3,999 per month respectively. With this price, the servicing cost and battery replacement is free, which means apart from that the user need not spend a single penny on the motorcycle.
