The South Korean giant, Samsung is reportedly working on another premium flip smartphone. Last year, Samsung introduced the W2017 and this year they are coming with an upgraded W2018. W-series is said to be restricted to few Asian markets only, however, there were rumours of W2017 making its way to the international markets.
As per a report by BGR, the W2018 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The phone is also said to have an internal memory of 64GB. However, these new specifications contradict what the flip phone's specifications got leaked on a trusted source TENAA. The W2018 was spotted on TENAA with the model number SM-G9298 where the listing showed that the smartphone came with the same display and storage variants as of the W2017. The listing showed the smartphone with Snapdragon 821AB chipset paired with 4GB of RAM.

Reports suggest that the upcoming W2018 is said to come with dual 4.2-inch full HD displays. The design language would be the same where one display would be on the outer portion and the other display would reveal on opening the flip. Th flip phone will also include a physical alpha-numeric keyboard. All this is said to be backed by a 2,300mAh battery. As per the reports, the phone will feature a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is also said to come with Google's Android Nougat operating system.
However, these specifications are not official and are based on few leaks and reports, and the official product may come with a slightly different set of specifications. The company may charge a premium for the W2018 and will give it a price tag of around $2,000 (roughly Rs. 1,28,500).
