Vodafone, India's one of the best telecom operators, have finally announced their VoLTE services in Maharashtra and Goa. In these states, the VoLTE services can be accessed from cities like Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Vasai and Panaji. Vodafone users in these areas can now enjoy HD quality voice calls with the help of Vodafone VoLTE.
Commenting on the launch of the Vodafone VoLTE services, Ashish Chandra, Business Head – Maharashtra & Goa, Vodafone India, said, “We have been making significant investments to expand, upgrade and modernise our network to ensure that we provide the finest service experience and seamless connectivity to our valued customers. We are delighted that Vodafone is now launching VoLTE services in Maharashtra & Goa beginning with Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Vasai and Goa and will soon extend it to other key cities. How to enable Vodafone VoLTE on your handset
- First of all, you will need to make sure that your smartphone is listed in the above list. You can also check for the updated list here.
- If your device is supported, ensure that your smartphone is on the latest available firmware. To do that, head over to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates
- Now just check if the network settings are switched to “4G/3G/2G (Auto)” on your device. If your smartphone has an option for HD Calls or VoLTE, make sure that is turned on.
- Voila! You can now enjoy the VoLTE services on your Vodafone 4G network.
