Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is now all set to launch the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi A2 and the Mi A2 Lite. Both the smartphones will be a part of Google's Android One programme. The launch event will be held tomorrow, July 24 in Spain.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Mi A2 features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The device packs in 4GB/6GB of RAM coupled with 32GB/64GB/128GB of onboard storage. The Mi A2 runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. All of this is backed by a 3,010mAh battery.
On the optics front, the Xiaomi Mi A2 sports a 12MP+20MP dual-camera setup at the back. Up front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Specifications
As far as the specifications are concerned, the reports suggest that the Mi A2 Lite will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. The smartphone will feature a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The dual-SIM handset will come with 3GB/4GB of RAM paired with 32GB/64GB of onboard storage. Just like the Mi A2, the Mi A2 Lite will also run on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there will be a 4,000mAh battery powering up the internals.
In terms of cameras, the Mi A2 Lite will feature a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual-camera setup at the back. Up front, there will be a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
