Xiaomi is gearing up to launch their next Android One smartphone, the Mi A3 in India. The specifications are already out since the phone was recently launched in Europe. So, all we are waiting for is the pricing of the Indian unit. Amazon, Xiaomi's launch partner, revealed the price of the phone ahead of launch.
Xiaomi is launching two variants of the smartphone in India, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage and the other with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. While the base variant will be priced at Rs. 14,998, the price of the 128GB variant has been set at Rs. 17,498
There will be three colour options available, namely, Not Just Blue, More Than White, and Kind of Grey. The prices and colour variants were spotted on Amazon India by Mukul Sharma. He shared the screenshots of the same via his Twitter handle.
If the prices are correct, the phone is too pricy for its specifications. It sports an HD display where most devices in the segment including the company's own Redmi Note 7 Pro come with a fullHD display. Also, the processor is quite under powered when compared to its competition.
