Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with Snapdragon 435 and 4GB RAM launched

Xiaomi today launched the successor to its hugely popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The company has launched two variants of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A in Beijing, China. The company also has put up the smartphones for sale also. One of the two variants launched comes with 2GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. Whereas the other one is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC, it also features a fingerprint sensor to unlock the device. The higher variant also has two options, one with 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage, and the other with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

All of these variants support dual SIM cards and have a separate slot to increase the phone's memory by adding a microSD card.Some Chinese sources have said that the devices went on a flash sale on Friday. It is also being said that the company is likely to sell this smartphone soon in various markets other markets like India also.

The smallest variant of the Redmi Note 5A costs 699 Yuan (Roughly Rs. 6,842) and the top model is priced at 1,199 Yuan (Roughly Rs. 11,736).

As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A sports a 5.5-inch HD display wrapped around in a metal body. It is backed by a 3,080mAh battery. As for the camera, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). On the front, it features a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and a front LED flash.
