Bharti Airtel has now introduced a new prepaid plan that costs only Rs. 129. This new plan offers a lot for its price and it is quite different from its competitions. Indian Telecom industries are going aggressive in order to keep up with the competition.
Airtel's new Rs. 129 plan offers free unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls. Alongside the calling, users will also get 1GB of 4G data and 100SMS per day. Till here the plan might sound like any other ordinary plan, but what is interesting is that Airtel is now also offering Hello Tunes with this plan. The Rs. 129 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 28 days.
The Rs. 129 plan is just a toned down version of the Rs. 219 plan introduced earlier. The telecom operator's Rs. 219 plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls and 100SMS per day. As for the data, the plan brings 1.4GB of 4G data per day and unlimited Hello Tunes for 28days. So, the Rs. 129 and Rs. 219 plans are pretty much the same, the difference being the amount of data provided.

Not many people use Hello Tunes nowadays. However, considering Reliance Jio offers free Caller Tunes with every pack, the introduction of new plans in Airtel might help to cope up with the competition.
For comparison, Reliance Jio offers free unlimited voice calls and 2GB of 4G data for just Rs. 98. The pack also offers a total of 300SMS messages with a validity of 28days. The Rs. 98 pack sounds like a much better deal than what Bharti Airtel is offering at Rs. 129.
