Today Xiaomi has launched its new devices named Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro along with RedmiBook 14 and the RedmiTV. The RedmiTV is Xiaomi's first own branded smart TV in the market. And the RedmoBook 14 has minor changes and updates comparing to its previous version of the notebook.
The company has decided to launch its special edition model for the Pro variant called World Of Warcraft. This variant will be coming with the exclusive goodies, special themes and much more. The World of Warcraft edition will be priced a bit higher compared to the standard version of the device.
Redmi Note 8 Features
Redmi Note 8 runs MIUI 10 based on Andriod 9 Pie. This device packs with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch on top. Redmi Note 8 is powered with the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 processor with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. This device is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and rear side of the body.
The camera on this device is the quad-camera setup of 48MP primary sensor + 8MP wide-angle lens + 2MP macro lens + 2MP depth sensor. The front selfie camera comes with the 13MP lens. This device sports a 4,000mAh battery and it supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C port. Yes, there is 3.5mm audio jack present on the device including the IR blaster with the fingerprint sensor at the back.
Totally, there are three variant in the Note 8 which are available to be sold, they are 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant at the price tag of Yaun 999 (nearly INR1000), 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant at the price of Yaun 1,199 (nearly INR12000) and the 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant priced at Yaun 1,399 (nearly INR14000).

Redmi Note 8 Pro Features
The smartphones sports a bigger display compared to the non-pro model which is 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch on top. Same Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the front and back. Running MIUI 10 based on the Andriod 9 Pie. This device sports a 4,500mAh battery bigger than the Note 8 variant along with 18W fast charging.
Note 8 Pro packs with quad-camera setup of 64MP primary sensor + 8MP wide-angle lens + 2MP macro lens + 2MP depth sensor along with a 20MP front selfie camera. Redmi Note 8 Pro also has 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster, USB Type-c port along with the NFC and other features. This variant is IP52 certified.
This Redmi Note 8 Pro is also designed for the gaming purpose. which is why is it powered by the MediaTek’s new gaming-centric chipset, Helio G90T, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Liquid Cooling System is introduced in the device to improve the gaming experience.

Additionally, the Pro variant comes with the other gaming-centric features like the Game Turbo 2.0 mode. The company is designed the gaming controllers for the Note 8 Pro which will be sold on their official websites. This controller will cost around Yaun 179 (nearly INR1800) but the early buyers can get it for a discount of Yaun 99 (nearly INR1000).
