Samsung recently unveiled their much-awaited flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 9 at the Unpacked event in New York. The company has already started taking pre-orders for the phone which will be officially launched in India on August 22. Now to celebrate the country's Independence Day, the company announced special discounts for their latest flagships which even include the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.
Samsung has partnered up with HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank to offer special discounts on Samsung smartphones till the end of August. To begin with, the Samsung is offering Rs.6,000 cashback to customers who purchase the Galaxy Note 9 using HDFC credit cards. Alongside the discount, the customers who pre-book the device will also get the Gear Sport only for Rs. 4,999 which originally costs Rs. 22,900.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the base variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be available at Rs. 64,900. The top-end variant that comes with 8GB of RAM and a whopping 512GB of internal storage will be available for Rs. 84,900.
The Galaxy S9 will also get an instant cashback of Rs. 5,000. Alongside the cashback, if customers pay via their HDFC credit card, they will get an additional cashback of Rs. 6,000. So, the Samsung Galaxy S9 (64GB) which is priced at Rs. 57,900 can be grabbed for as low as Rs. 46,900.
Just like the Galaxy S9, the S9 Plus also gets an instant cashback of Rs. 3,000. With the additional Rs. 6,000 cashback from HDFC, the Galaxy S9 Plus can be grabbed for as low as Rs. 55,900. In case customers are interested in exchanging their old smartphone, they can get up to Rs. 6,000 of exchange value on select smartphones.

Even the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are available on discount. The smartphones get an instant discount of Rs. 4,000 and an additional Rs. 4,000 on completing the transaction via HDFC credit cards. Speaking of 2017 flagships, the Galaxy Note 8 gets an instant discount of Rs. 4,000 and an additional Rs 4,000 discount on exchange offer.
