Samsung is now gearing up to launch their first flagship smartphone of 2019, the Galaxy S10. While the Galaxy S9 series is all set to get a successor, the company decided to slash the prices of the Galaxy S9+ in the Indian market. As of now, the pricing is affected only in the offline market with no word as of when it will affect the online stores.
The base variant of the Samsung Galaxy S9+ with 64GB of onboard storage was earlier available for Rs. 63,900, which can now be grabbed for just Rs. 57,900. The prices of 128GB and 256GB variants have also slashed from Rs. 67,900 and Rs. 71,900 to Rs. 61,900 and Rs. 65,900 respectively.
Samsung Galaxy S9+ Specifications
Samsung Galaxy S9+ features a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960x1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 9810 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP18 GPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable using a microSD card. It runs on Android 9 Pie based One UI. All of this is backed by a 3,500mAh battery.
On the optics front, the Galaxy S9+ sports a 12-megapixel dual camera setup at the back. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

Meanwhile, Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy S10 series on February 20. Reports suggest that the company might launch a total of 5 smartphones as a part of the series. These smartphones include Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10 Lite and more.
