The South Korea tech giant, Samsung has added a new smartphone to its J7 lineup, the Galaxy J7 Nxt in India. This new smartphone is a mid-range device and is currently priced at Rs. 11,490.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt is powered by the company's own Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. In the camera department, the device carries a 13-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture and autofocus. Upfront, it comes with a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture for great selfies and video calling. The smartphone comes with LED flash for both front and rear cameras for better images in low light conditions. J7 Nxt comes with Android Nougat out-of-the box with Samsung's own UI layered at the top. The design of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt is something we have seen in past with the J series. The phone is 7.6mm thick and weighs 170 grams.
As far as the connectivity options are concerned, Galaxy J7 Nxt comes with a dual-SIM hybrid slot and supports 4G FDD LTE. The smartphone includes the basic connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and few more things. The device also comes with the basic sensors like Accelerometer and proximity sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt is priced at Rs. 11,490 and will be available in both online and offline stores. Last month, Samsung also launched the J7 Max and J7 Pro with a price tag of Rs. 17,900 and Rs. 20,900 respectively.
Nubia smartphones today announced that the company will start a “Summer Rush” promotion for three days on Amazon India from 25 to 27 July 2017. The three-day promotion is being launched, coinciding with the onset of campus season across the country.

Images of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active have been leaked by an employee at Samsung, San Francisco. The images clearly show that the S8 active resembles a lot to the S8. Reports suggest that the specifications also could be the same, but here for a twist the company provides a 4,000mAh battery instead of 3,000mAh or 3,500mAh which was found in S8 and S8+ respectively. The battery capacity is clearly shown with the phone's model number SM-G892A.

Galaxy S8 Active features the same 5.8-inch AMOLED display like in the S8, but this time it is without the curves. The display on the S8 Active is completely flat which will make installation of screen protectors easier. However, the phone has a rugged design and is more durable than the S8 and S8+. Samsung had to give up on the curved edges just to make the smartphone more durable.Reports also claim that this time Samsung has replaced the Active button which was exclusive for the active series with the Bixby button.
As far as the specifications are concerned, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will have some of the same specifications as of the S8. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage which is further expandable via a microSD card. On the camera department, S8 active could use the same 12-megapixel camera at the rear and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

Reliance Jio's 4G VoLTE feature phone which was introduced by the company on July 21, is now up for a "Keep me posted" registration on the company's website. Many people might have already registered while others may do it soon. There is nothing so perfect, so whats bad with the JioPhone? Here are 5 reasons which we think can stop you from going in for the JioPhone.
It's not absolutely free: The JioPhone which is advertised to be sold at a price of Rs. 0 which makes it a free phone. But there is a catch, the company says that if the phone is just lying around for three months without the monthly recharge, the customer will be no longer be eligible to get the deposited amount back.
Smartphones getting cheaper: This new feature phone by Jio has been made free, but with a security deposit of Rs. 1500. The question here is, rather than giving Rs. 1500 for 3Years, why can't a person just buy a contract free smartphone in a world where the 4G VoLTE enabled smartphones have got as cheap as Rs. 3,499.

Manufacturer: As per few reports, it is said that the units of JioPhone will be manufactured by Intex and Foxconn Technology. Reliance has its Annual General Meeting on Friday, July 21, where the company usually discusses its performance. This time the company will add a pinch of salt by introducing the most hyped Jio 4G VoLTE smart-feature phone under the LYF brand. Reliance may also introduce new cheaper tariff plans. The upcoming 4G VoLTE feature phone which is being expected to launch on Friday will have support to run basic social media applications like Facebook and WhatsApp Messenger, and some of the company's own applications for users entertainment.
iVOOMi, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has launched their Me4 and the Me5 smartphones in India. The phones have been launched at unbelievable prices. Both the phone support 4G VoLTE and will run on Android Nougat out-of-the-box. Me4 and Me5 are priced at Rs. 3,499 and Rs. 4,499 respectively and are available exclusively on Flipkart.

The Me4 comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 64 GB via a MicroSD card. Me5 comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage that is expandable up to 128 GB via a MicroSD card. The Me4 and Me5 pack a 2,000mAh and 3,000mAh battery respectively.
In the camera department, the Me4 will include a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with Face Beauty, Face Detection & Panorama Mode. The Me5 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calling.
