BlackBerry Z10 – the latest offering by Smartphone pioneer

Introduction

BlackBerry introduced the new phone, the BlackBerry Z10 to take in charge of the smartphone market. BlackBerry Z10 is altogether a new phone with redesigned architecture, look and feel, leading to a modern and attractive smartphone product. It is packaged with powerful hardware and a modern software platform, the BlackBerry OS 10. The new Z10 has a range of latest apps for download from the BlackBerry app store, developed exclusively for this new software platform.

Design & display

With regards to the design of the phone, the new BlackBerry Z10 phone doesn’t have a physical keyboard and buttons, and sports a swish 4.2” touch screen display. The display features a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, packing an impressive pixel density of 356 ppi. The screen size is perfect for single hand use, and is neither huge as some Android models nor too small. This gives a crystal clear display of content, giving an affable experience while viewing pictures and web surfing. With round edges, the Z10 looks quite posh and elegant. The back cover includes the BlackBerry logo, which doubles up as a NFC (Near Field Communication) antenna.

Operating system

What distinguishes the Z10 is its all new BlackBerry 10 OS platform introduced for the first time in this phone. It’s a huge overhaul from the existing BB7 plaform. This gives it a modern functionality and the OS provides an environment for modern apps. The most attractive feature of OS 10 is the gesture based interface. There are a lot of apps inbuilt and thousands of other apps, developed exclusively for BB10 platform, are available to download through the app store- BB world. One of the gesture is when you swipe from up to the right. This exposes you to the BlackBerry Hub which contains a list of all navigable items. This can be considered as the control centre of the phone.  

Camera

One of the most important and vital feature of any smartphone is the camera, and the Z10 is decorated with two cameras- an 8MP rear  facing and a 2MP front facing camera that clicks rapid pictures and captures high resolution pictures.

 

BB Keypad

Talking of the BlackBerry keyboard which has been the trademark aspect of any BB phones, the new Z10 doesn’t disappoint with its virtual onscreen keyboard. The keyboard offers predictive text feature which predicts the text as the user types making it easy and fast to complete the words/sentences. The buttons are also easy to tap.

Performance

The BlackBerry is powered by the 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm processor with 2GB of RAM which helps the phone to quickly respond to user commands and gestures. Apps are fast to load, and switching between apps is also fast and efficient. The Z10 phone battery has 1800mAh capacity, and is a powerful enough to last over 8 hours on a single charge (standard video rundown test).

On the other side Tony's love life is also not on a good phase and his mansion is destroyed by the Mandarin.

Mandarin Officially Challenges Tony for a War by kidnapping her Girl Friend Pepper Pots and destroying the Air Force 1 and throwing everyone out of it.

Ubisoft is now taking on Pirates in the next and due installment of it's Assassins Creed Series, The Assassins Creed 4 | The Black Flag, will be launched in October.

Assassin's Creed 4 | The Black Flag will be set in the age of Pirates

Assassins Creed 4 | The Black Flag follows the last year's game, which was set during the American Revolution and the featured main character called Connor. The new game centers on Connor's Grandfather, a Pirate named Edward Kenway.

Assassins Creed 4 | The Black Flag is expected to feature full naval combat as well as a diving mode, all interspersed with the familiar Assassins Creed trips back to the modern day.

There are reported to be 50 different caribbean locations to explore and developers have said they have focused on making a game that gets moving more quickly than last year's title, which was criticized for it's slow start.

Players will also be able to take to the seas to hunt vessels to board and plunder, gaining riches which can be used to hire a larger crew and upgrade the ship. The game will also feature appearances by famous pirates from the history, including Blackbeard  developers have said.

Knowing at least some of the Windows 8 keyboard shortcuts will make your Windows 8 experience much more enjoyable. Try to memorize these Windows 8 Shortcut Keys.

 

These are the only special Keys that were specified for Windows 8 other shortcut keys are mostly the same ones as previous Windows Versions.

 

  • Press the Windows Key to open the Start Screen or switch to the Desktop (If Open).

  • Press the Windows Key + D will open the Windows Desktop.

  • Press the Windows Key + . to pin and unpin Windows Apps on the side of the screen.

  • Press the Windows Key + X to open the power user menu, which gives you access to many features like – Device Manager, Command Prompt, etc.

  • Press the Windows Key + C to open the Charms.

  • Press the Windows Key + I to open the Settings, which is the same Settings found in Charms.

A personal connection is made between proud iPhone owners and their iPhone's Digital Assistant - SIRI and for many years iPhone users have clamoured for SIRI to be highly customizable. So now the word is that Apple Inc. is looking for creative writers and editors who can 'enhance' Siri's personality in many ways, which could majorly include the digital assistant to be funny as we have got news that Apple is hiring more and more Jokes and Sarcasm Website Owners as their new dialogue writers for SIRI 2.0 which is the new code name for the next SIRI.

We even got a news that Apple Inc. interviewed Jim Carrey on how does he want his digital assistant to behave and he replied "Funny" so Apple Inc. even went across the line and asked him for a few suggestions of dialogues or lines he would like in a reply to a question asked by him to SIRI. The interview is still a rumour and the Questions and the Answers are undisclosed, and nobody at Apple was willing to take this Question on and were just dodging it around and passing it on to others.

Update

The company did hire people for the job but put them to much better use for the future development of the digital assistant. The company also in 2017 announced the Home Pod which is similar to the Google Home and Amazon Echo products which will be powered by the digital assistant that had started it all. It remains to be seen how the Home Pod performs when it comes out in December.

The rumors are true HP was indeed working on a 7" tablet - The Hp Slate 7.
This time it has deployed a tried and tested method which is putting Android on the device!

Recently HP had pointed to the development of a tablet. On the lines of which the company unveiled it's latest challenger for the tablet market, the HP Slate 7, and as the name suggests, it will have a 7" display, with a resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels. The tablet will come pre - loaded with Android 4.1. In the line HP's recent cozying up with Google, which included the Chromebook. It will be powered by a Dual - Core ARM Cortex A9 processor clocking at 1.6 GHz, but the amount of RAM has not been mentioned.

This is HP's third Tablet , with a critically acclaimed enterprise - based Windows 7 tablet long back, and then the doomed filtration and adoption of webOS.

The HP Slate 7 will have 8 GB Built -in storage, while there is the memory card slot for expansion, in case you so require. The tablet includes Beats Audio Speakers, a Micro USB port, a soft - touch rubber back, a 3 MP rear camera and a VGA front - facing for video chatting. High Aperture - ratio Field Fringe Switching (HFFS) Display panel claims to offer wide viewing angles, even in outdoor lighting conditions.

HP claims that the Slate 7 will offer 5 hours of battery life when used for continuous video playback.

HP hopes to find it's feet in the tablet market, by offering the HP Slate 7 at a fairly aggressive price point of $169.99 in the U.S., and by offering what HP has been eager to point out - "Premium Build Experience", and the combination of stainless steel frame and soft touch rubber back could go some way towards that motive.

"To address the growing interest in tablets among consumers and businesses alike, HP will offer a range of form factors and leverage an array of operating systems", said Alberto Torres, senior vice president, Mobility Global Business Unit, HP. " Our new HP Slate 7 on Android represents a compelling entry point for consumer tablets, while our ground - breaking, business - ready HP ElitePad on Windows 8 is ideal for enterprises and governments, Both delver the service and support people expect from HP."

The HP Slate 7 is expected to be available in the United States in April with a starting price of $169.
