Samsung has unveiled a new pink and gold gradient colour variant of its recently launched Galaxy A8s smartphone. The company plans to launch the new colour variant in China on February 14 and might call it as the Galaxy A8s FE. A lot of sites are reporting, that the Galaxy A8s FE will probably be a smaller version of Galaxy A8s Female Edition.

The new Galaxy A8s FE will go on sale in the Chinese market starting February 14, with the prices and variants being disclosed near the date. International availability of the device is also currently unknown. The device is said to come with similar specifications to the regular variant of the Galaxy A8s currently available in the market.

Samsung Galaxy A8s is the company's first smartphone to feature its Galaxy Infinity O display, which is basically a hole punch display that avoids having a notched display. It has a triple camera setup on the back like the earlier launched Galaxy A7 and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 710 processor.

The device sports a 6.2-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor paired with an Adreno 616 GPU. The device comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage.

It runs Google's Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with the company's own Experience UI skin on top. All of this is backed by a 2,400mAh non-removable battery with support for fast charging.

Galaxy A8s sports a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 24-megapixel primary sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it features a 24-megapixel sensor to take selfies.

Huawei and its sub-brand Honor will be selling a variety of its smartphones at the discounted prices during their Republic Day sales. These sales will take place on Flipkart and Amazon. The Republic day sales will kick-off on January 20th, with Amazon ending its sales on the 23rd, while Flipkart on the 22nd. Both the companies will be offering an additional 10 percent markdown, when customers purchase products through selected debit and credit cards.

Honor is offering discounts on smartphones including Honor Play, Honor 9N and Honor 8C. Huawei will be offering lower prices up to Rs. 7,000 on phones like the P20 Lite, Nova 3, Nova 3i. Both the companies will be offering users no-cost EMI deals and exchange offers as well.

Huawei P20 Lite, which is usually sold at Rs. 19,999 will be up for grabs at Rs. 12,999 with a whopping discount of Rs. 7,000. The smartphone details a glass sandwich design and a notched display upfront. Unfortunately, Huawei will not be offering its customers any explicit discount on its flagship devices which are the P20 Pro and Mate P20 Pro and will stay at the same price of RS 59,999 and RS 69,990 respectively. But, customers with the P20 pro will benefit from the exchange discount of RS 5000 and a three month no-cost EMI option.

Huawei is also offering discounts on the OnePlus 6T competitor Huawei Nova 3. The smartphone will be available at a price of Rs. 29,999 as a part of the sale. Its cheaper variant, Nova 3i will be available at a discount of Rs. 4,000 bringing its price down to Rs. 20,900.

As for the Honor smartphones, the company is offering a mind blowing discount of Rs. 6,000 on the Honor Play bringing its price down from Rs. 19,999 to an unbelievable Rs. 13,999 for the base variant. The 6GB RAM variant of the same will be available with a price tag of Rs. 17,999.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer's more popular Honor 8X smartphone is also available on discounted rates. The 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants of the phone are currently selling for Rs. 12,499 and Rs. 13,299 respectively. Further, the company is also offering discounts on more budget options like the Honor 8C, Honor 9N, Honor 9 Lite and more.

Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro in India, which did not receive much love due to very minimal changes over its predecessor. Now the company is ready to launch the successors of Redmi Note 6 and Redmi Note 6 Pro in India. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro will come with glass sandwich design and a water drop style notch up front.

Recently Xiaomi announced that Redmi is now their sub-brand where they will be launching a whole different series of smartphone. It will also give the independence to perform different experiments like the 48-megapixel camera on the Redmi Note 7. The company is looking forward to launching the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Go smartphones in India soon. However, the Redmi Note 7 will remain a China exclusive device.

Another report suggests that the company might launch three new smartphones in India which will include the Redmi Note 7 as well. It further states that the consumers can expect the devices to arrive anytime in Q1 2019.

Asus has released a new over the air (OTA) update for its ZenfoneMax Pro M1. The update adds Android's January 2019 security update and some stability fixes. The company has announced that they will be rolling out the update gradually to all users over the next few weeks.

The new OTA update comes with a version number OPM1.WW_Phone-15.2016.1811.338-20181206, which is built upon Google's Android 8.1 Oreo. The company is expected to release the Android 9.0 Pie update for the device next month.

One of the biggest change this update brings is the addition of Android's January 2019 security patch. The security patch fixes some system and kernel vulnerabilities that affect certain Qualcomm components. Additionally, it adds a few software stability fixes.

Korean Manufacturer, LG has finally launched their latest and greatest, the LG V40 ThinQ in India. The online retailer Amazon has started accepting pre-orders for the smartphone. The company says that the shipping will begin on January 24th. The LG V40 ThinQ sports a triple rear camera set up along with a dual front camera setup. The V40 ThinQ also includes a Snapdragon 845 SoC and a 19.5:9 OLED display with a notch.

Like the V30, the V40 sports a military-grade build with MIL-STD-810 certification and is IP68-certified water and dust resistant. Also, like the V30, the V40 has Boombox speaker along with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad-DAC audio and DTS:X 3D surround sound experience.

It is a battle royale game is quite similar to PUBG and Fortnite, more like the former. Survival Game is currently available only on the Mi Apps Store and weighs in at around 185MB.

The game has been uploaded by a developer called "SuperEdguy." As the game is quite similar to PUBG Mobile, players are thrown off a spaceship and have to fight against each other in order to be the last man standing. The player will be dropped off the spaceship without bare hands. He has to start collecting supplies as soon as he hits the ground.

Just like Fortnite, Survival Game also gets multiple characters that users can choose from in order to have a fun and joyful experience every time they play the game. The game also gets equipments like jetpacks that will help players to reach from one point to the other faster.
