With Samsung taking the Chinese smartphone competition seriously, the company is gearing up to launch the fourth smartphone under its new M-series. According to the teasers, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M40 will come with a punch hole design and a triple rear camera setup.

Samsung India has confirmed that it will be launching the smartphone in the country on June 11, 2019. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Amazon India.

Apart from the Infinity O Display and triple rear camera setup, the company has also teased that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series processor will be powering the show. It will make the Galaxy M40 the first Galaxy M-series smartphone to come with a Qualcomm processor instead of the company's in-house Exynos.

According to a recent report by IANS, the Samsung Galaxy M40 will come with a price tag of around Rs. 25,000. However, I personally feel if the company is able to pull off a more aggressive price, it will be able to put all other smartphones in the price range to shame.

As far as the other specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and feature a Super AMOLED panel. The phone will also come with 6GB of RAM and it will be backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery. Unlike the other M-series devices, this one will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Samsung's new One UI skin on top of it.
