A CenturyLink user has the ease of simply contacting CenturyLink customer service to have this request catered to, so that’s all you have to do. So this step will depend on your provider.

When television was first introduced, there were only a few channels, thus there were a lot of ads as well to make up for the lack of programming. With the addition of new TV stations and cable TV options, a wide range of specialized programming became available. Now we have a vast number of channels, which seemed almost at one point in life. We can get more and more content and it will never stop.

Adding More Channels To Your TV

The TV scans all accessible television stations and saves them into its memory when you first program it after adding digital cable or the satellite connection. You can use this to skip across the channels that you don’t get. If your programming has been upgraded, you may need to add channels to your television’s digital channel list so you can see the stations while changing the channels.

So without any further wait let’s find out how you can get more channels added to your television. Just follow the quick steps below.

Step 1

First things first, you need to turn on your television set of course. Do not forget the receiver that you have attached to the TV. Click on the ‘Menu’ button on the television remote.

Step 2

Once you select the ‘Programming’ option, you will see several other program options also appear on the screen.

Step 3

Moving on, you will select the ‘Channel Scan’ option and then go on to ‘Add Channels’.

If you wish to have added all the channel stations being received to your channels list on the television then simply perform a Channel Scan. Whereas, if you wish to have some selected channels showing on your television, then choose the ‘Add Channels’ option.

Step 4

Next, type in the channel number that you would want to be added to your television list. Keep repeating this to add all your preferred stations to your list.

Step 5

Click on the menu button on your remote to exit the add channels option once you have finished adding your favourite ones.

Adding Premium Channels

The premium channels become accessible to you if only they are added to your cable plan. You get in touch with your service provider to get these as extras added to your cable subscription. How you can have these channels added will depend on your cable provider.

Premium channels include CINEMAX, EPIX, SHOWTIME, STARZ, etc.

There are innumerable premium channels that you can add to your subscription, but each comes with a monthly cost and your pocket can bear only so much, so choose wisely.

Wrapping Up

The aforementioned is a simple guide for you to add more channels to your television list. In the end, it is all about your preferences what you want to see in your list and what you are willing to skip.

What's new on Android 13

As for what is new in the update, Android 13 focuses majorly on privacy and security. The update introduces a new photo picker system that has been optimized for sharing photos online. New State Mobile February update is now available on Android, iPhone.

New State Mobile, formerly known as PUBG: New State, has rolled out its latest February update for both Android and iOS platforms. The all-new New State 0.9.24 update offers a new game mode dubbed Round Deathmatch mode which is a 4v4 mode. The players can enjoy the game mode in the new map — Arena.

Apart from the new game mode, the company has also introduced Survivor Pass Vol. 4, new weapons, new weapon customisation options and some clean system adjustments.

Round Deathmatch Mode

Round Deathmatch Mode or RDM is a 4v4 round-based game mode. Unlike the usual deathmatch modes, players will not respawn after being eliminated. Instead, the team with the last player standing each round will win that round. There will be a series of seven such rounds to see who ultimately wins the match.

The new game mode will be played on the Arena map, which is a new map dedicated to RDM. In the new game mode, each team will start each round on opposite sides of the map with a set of basic weapons. At the start of every round, a Blue Zone will form just like battle royale mode and it will shrink gradually to the centre of the map as a round progresses.

Survivor Pass Vol. 4

Alongside the new game mode, the company has also introduced the much-awaited Survivor Pass Vol. 4. Using the Survivor Pass, the players will be able to earn a variety of in-game rewards. In this particular version, the players can complete a series of faction-themed missions, which focuses on Doug Bikerway of the Mayhem biker gang, which is one of the arms-dealing factions in New State Mobile. Players who successfully complete the story missions will earn the Doug Bikerway skin.

As for the Crossbow, it is a silent, long-range weapon that is now available as a field drop in the Troi and Erangel 2052 maps.

In terms of customisations, the M249 weapon can now be customized with a new shield attachment that fits on the side of its handguard and prevents enemy fire from destroying the weapon. However, it results in a slightly slower ADS time.

The camera module showcased in the teaser looks similar to the previous design leaks. Twitter downvote reply feature now available globally: How to use

Downvoting is the most frequently used way for people to flag content they don’t want to see according to Twitter. (Image: Twitter)

Twitter had introduced its downvote reply feature last year to a limited number of its users. Now, the company has started rolling out the feature globally. As of now, the feature is limited to web users, whereas, the company has announced that iOS and Android app users will get the feature at a later date.

Apart from globally rolling out the feature, the company has also announced that it will continue to keep the downvotes on replies hidden. These will just help the platform recognise more relevant comments and make them more visible. Upvotes on replies will continue to be publically visible in the terms of likes.

The micro-blogging platform has stated that during the feature's testing, it has realised that the majority of users clicked the down arrow because the reply was either offensive, irrelevant or both. They also found that "downvoting is the most frequently used way for people to flag content they don’t want to see."

In other news, Twitter is reportedly working on a new feature called Articles. The new Articles feature will allow users to write longer posts, with no character count limit, that is imposed on tweets. The current character count limit imposed by Twitter is 280 characters in a single tweet.

To write longer posts, users earlier had to write tweet threads, which spanned over multiple tweets. With the help of the new Articles feature, it will become more convenient for users who want to post something longer, thus eliminating the requirement of chaining multiple tweets into a thread.

Google Play Store's 'Offers' tab is currently rolling in the US, India, and Indonesia. The company will be rolling it out to more countries later this year.

The Offers tab will be located at the bottom of the Play Store. The company claims to be partnering with developers of some of the top-performing apps and games, to offer customers new deals every day.

"Sections like 'Offers for apps you might like' help you easily find deals that are relevant to you," said David Winer, Google Play Product Manager in the launch announcement of the new feature.

The company claims that this new feature will allow gamers to find limited-time deals on in-game items like orbs or tokens. Other apps can feature their rewards and bundles inside of the tab, like free rides or deliveries. The tab will also feature sales on movies and books. Lastly, developers can also feature their promotional offers like a 30-day free trial and other extended offers.

In other news, Google recently launched a limited beta of its Google Play Games service for Windows. According to reports, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will ship with S-Pen compatibility and will also have a dedicated slot to hold the stylus when not in use, just like the Galaxy Note series.
