OnePlus 6T comes with Dash Charge technology which uses a 20W charger. Now, with the McLaren Edition, the company has introduced Warp Charge technology. It uses a 30W charger and should technically charge your phone faster. OnePlus claims that Warp charge can offer a day's power with just 20 mins of charging.

10GB RAM

While the OnePlus 6T's top of the line variant comes with 8GB of RAM, the McLaren Edition takes it a step ahead and introduces 10GB of RAM. Once the phone is available in India, this will make the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition the first smartphone with 10GB of RAM to launch in India. The amount of RAM might seem overkill but it will be useful in the long run.

One of the few reasons why someone would pick the McLaren Edition over the regular versions is the design. Though the phone looks quite similar to the regular variant from the front, the back is where things get spicy. It features a carbon fibre design at the back with orange lining on the sides and bottom of the phone. It also has a McLaren logo at the back which is going to impress all car enthusiasts out there.

Box contents

Another reason why someone would prefer to pick the McLaren edition is its box contents. The packaging itself shouts that something special is hiding inside. The whole box is coloured in McLaren Papaya Orange. Inside the box, there is a warp charger, a black and orange USB Type C cable and a USB Type-C to 3.5mm converter. Apart from the basics, the box has a carbon fibre case with McLaren logo and a glass plack with some real carbon fibre inside. McLaren fans are going to enjoy the whole unboxing experience.
