HP unveiled their Pavilion Gaming 15 and Omen 15 laptops in India today. Both of the newly launched laptops are aimed at the Gaming segment. The new Gaming laptops by the company come with thin bezels and nifty features such as a three-phase motor fan for cooling. The HP Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop starts at a price of Rs 74,990. While the Omen 15 starts at a price of Rs 1,05,990. Along with the laptops, there are a host of accessories available. The accessories include a headset with active earcup technology and Gaming Keyboard and Mouse.

The laptop comes with dual speakers with the new 3D geometric speaker grill. The company claims, this not only makes the laptop look great by also helps with sound quality.

However, users will need a minimum i3 7th Generation processor on their remote device and minimum Internet speeds of 5Mbps upload and download. Still, it is a really good feature. The Omen 15 has a brushed top and an anodized aluminum frame.

The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. HP also launched a slew of Gaming accessories including an Omen Sequencer keyboard, Omen Reactor mouse, Omen Transceptor backpack. The Omen Sequencer keyboard is priced at Rs 10,999 while Omen Reactor mouse is priced at Rs 3,499. The Omen Transceptor backpack costs Rs 11,999. The accessories will be available starting August 2018.

Huawei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is now gearing up to launch its latest Mate 10 smartphones, The Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro in India. According to our source within the company, we got to know that Huawei is planning to launch the Mate 10 Pro in the country within this month or maximum by the next month. Alongside, the Mate 10 Pro, the company is also thinking to bring the comparatively cheaper Mate 10 Lite also.

As for the pricing, the source said that the company is still not pretty sure which pricing strategy they will be following, so he couldn't give us a definite price. However, as soon as we get any other information about it we will be updating this space. The company is targetting devices like the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and the Apple iPhone 8 Plus as its competitors. The Mate 10 Lite, on the other hand, is being targetted as a competitor for the newly launched OnePlus 6 and Asus ZenFone 5Z. He further insisted, the company is trying to launch the devices within this month, however, if the deadline is missed due to shipping and ports problems the launch will take place next month.

Motorola is now gearing up to launch the Moto E5 Play in India. The launch event is scheduled for today, July 10 and will take place at New Delhi, India. Microsoft is now working on a new update for Windows 10 where they will introduce Fluent Design updates, a few changes to their Edge browser and much more. The changes are currently being tested under the Windows 10 Insider Preview. The latest Insider Preview Build 17711 brings all these changes.

Microsoft has already rolled out the 17711 Build update and those who are a part of the company's Insider Preview program can download and install the update right away. The update brings a bunch of new features and tweaks to the Edge browser. The Edge browser now comes with much better learning tools which are available under the Reading View. These tools will help users choose between different themes in order to match the suitable colours.

Alongside the learning tools, Microsoft has also added a new Line focus feature that helps in improving the user's focus when reading articles by highlighting sets of one, three or even five lines. How to install MIUI 10 on Xiaomi smartphones

Xiaomi recently showcased their latest iteration of the MIUI operating system, the MIUI 10. They have now gone ahead and announced the global beta version of the operating system. In this guide, we are going to list out all of the steps required during the process of installing the MIUI 10 global beta on your Xiaomi smartphone. The company claims that the software is powered by AI and comes with features like AI Portrait allowing for depth of field shots with just a single camera and AI Preload which pre-loads apps based on the user's usage patterns. Along with all those AI features, the MIUI 10 also brings with it a UI redesign, which includes a new notification Panel, a new recents menu along with much more. The company claims the new UI is optimized for devices with a high screen to body ratio like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Currently, not all Xiaomi smartphones are supported by MIUI 10 global beta, however, the company is to soon make the ROM available for more of its devices. As of now, the first batch of devices which can update to the beta ROM include the Mi 6, Mi Mix 2, Redmi S2, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 5, Mi Mix 2S, Mi 5, Mi Note 2 and the Mi Mix. A word of caution, the beta version of operating systems are generally buggy and can cause crashes. Therefore we advise you not to install this ROM on your primary device.

How to: Install MIUI 10 Global beta on eligible Xiaomi smartphones

If you are currently running MIUI 9 global beta, you would have already gotten an OTA notification for the MIUI 10 global beta update. If not, you can get this by the following the steps listed below. Before starting we recommend that you take a backup of all your data as it will be wiped during the installation process.

  1. Download and install the MIUI ROM flashing tool from Xiaomi's website.
  2. Mke sure your smartphone has an unlocked bootloader. If not, do so by following the steps listed on the company's website.

  4. Switch off your smartphone, and then press the volume down and power button simultaneously to enter fast boot menu.MIUI, fastboot, redmi note 5 pro
  5. Connect your device to your a PC.
  6. Double click on the downloaded ROM to decompress it.
  7. Open the folder where the ROM was saved after decompression and copy its file path.
  8. After installing the MIUI ROM flashing tool, you will get a file named MiFlash.exe on the Desktop. Open the software and paste the file path you copied in step 7 on the top address bar.Mi Flash Tool
  9. Click the button labelled Refresh and you will see your device in the list below.
  10. Click flash to start the process.
  11. Wait until the progress bar turns fully green. If all went correctly your device should now automatically boot into MIUI 10.

Petition started for Microsoft to revive Project Andromeda aka Surface Phone

Recent reports have suggested that Microsoft is working on Project Andromeda which might also be the long rumoured Surface Phone. In the leak, we got to know that Project Andromeda is being described as a game changer inside the company, as it will be a convertible device that can at the same time be a smartphone, a mini laptop, and a tablet. Now Surface Phone enthusiasts are running a petition on Change.org trying to persuade the company to reverse its reported decision to cancel Andromeda at the last point.

In the petition, it has been stated that the consumers wouldn't mind paying $799-999 (Roughly Rs. 55,000-69,000) for the device. However, considering the fact, so much innovation has gone into making the product, it might be difficult for the company to price it below $999 (Approximately Rs. 69,000). Which might be the reason why they decided to shelf the product plan.

According to a report by ZDNet, the rethinking of the Surface Phone strategy which is happening behind closed doors initially started due to scheduling and quality related reasons.
