Vivo Y17 sports a 6.35-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1544x720 pixels.

Vivo has launched a new mid-range smartphone in India, Vivo Y17. The USP of the device us its 5,000 battery with support for Dual-Engine fast charging technology.

Vivo Y17 is priced at Rs. 17,990 and is currently available at Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, Vivo e-store and authorised retail stores across the country. The device comes in two colour options - Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple.

Customers who purchase the device online get an additional exchange discount of Rs. 1,000 and can also opt-in for a no-cost EMI scheme for up to nine months. Launch offers include 5 percent cashback on SBI credit and debit cards, 5 percent cashback on HDB paper finance by credit card down-payment, EMIs starting at Rs. 1,499, and no-cost EMI plans for up to 12 months. Reliance Jio customers can also get benefits worth Rs. 4,000, alongside 3TB of 4G data.

The device runs Google's Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the company's own Funtouch OS 9 skin on top. All of this is backed by a huge 5,000mAh battery with support for the company's own Dual Engine fast charging technology.

Chinese smartphone brand, Nubia has just announced a new smartphone, the Nubia Red Magic 3. It is a successor to the company's last gaming smartphone, the Nubia Red Magic 2. The key highlights of the new smartphone include the 90Hz screen, a massive 5000mAh battery and more.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nubia Red Magic 3 comes with a 6.65-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with the Adreno 640 GPU. It will be available with 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage. All of this is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery, which supports the company's all-new 30W fast charging technology.

On the optics front, the Nubia Red Magic 3 sports a 48-megapixel camera at the back. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

Apart from that, the Nubia Red Magic 3 also gets an active cooling system, which will prevent the device from heating over long gaming sessions. It also gets Red Magic Game Space 2.0, which will improve the gaming performance on the software front.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 will be launched in China on May 3. However, there is no word yet as of when the device will make its way to other countries. In terms of the pricing, the Red Magic 3 will be available at a starting price of CNY 3199 (roughly Rs. 33,200). The top-of-the-line variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will come with a price tag of CNY 4299 Yuan (roughly Rs 45,000).

While the main focus with this update is the Notifications 2.0, it also brings tons of more features and improvements. The April update is available across the globe and here's everything that has changed.

The major change with the April update is the Notifications 2.0. The new notifications now bring improved behaviour and reliability. They have also introduced some new features and extra customisation options. Also, the app now sucks less background battery usage. One of the major changes here is that the app will now not bring back dismissed notifications again and again.

The notifications of Telegram X now work seamlessly with Edge panels on Samsung devices like the Samsung Galaxy S8, Note 9 and S10. Samsung users can head over to Settings > Display > Edge Screen > Edge lighting > Manage notifications and turn the toggle on for Telegram X.

Apart from that, the app now also gets smart notification delays when the user is chatting from another device. Additionally, notifications can now also be grouped by chat type. The new notifications 2.0 also gives full control over mentions, replies and pinned message notifications.

The April update also brings changes to other parts of the application. Telegram X is now based on a newer TDLib 1.4.0 architecture. It now allows users to delete chats and messages on both ends in private chats. The update also brings a new feature called Polls, which allows users to create and participate in community polls.

Some of the other changes include, pin messages in saved messages and any groups, quickly change audio playback position without waiting for the file to download, improved total member count calculation, new 2FA email recovery setup by code improved censorship circumvention and much more.

While the company recently launched its budget-oriented Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 smartphones in India, they are now gearing up to launch a new mid-range device, the Xiaomi Mi A3. The next Android One device from Xiaomi is expected to be powered by one of the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 700-series processors.

According to a recent tweet by Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP, Xiaomi, the company is working on a new smartphone which will come with either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 or 730G processor. While the tweet does not clearly specify the smartphone, it is expected to be the Mi A3.

Xiaomi Mi A3 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch notched IPS LCD display. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor. It will come with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Mi A3 will run on a clean stock version of Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. All of this will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

The latest easter egg from Google is dedicated to the villain of the Avengers: Endgame movie named Thanos, the Mad Titan who snapped half of the population of the universe out of existence at the end of Infinity War. He proceeded to do that using the power of all the infinity stones combined and just snapping his fingers. The surprise is when you google the term "Thanos", there appears an infinity gauntlet with all the stones beside its name.

While the main focus of the app here is the stickers, it also brings a few other tricks up its sleeve. It also comes with something called as the Hidden Mode, which, as the name suggests, allows the user to hide some of the chats. Google Chrome, one of the most popular web browsers, just received a new update. The browser for Windows platform has now been updated to the build number 74.0.3729.108. While the update brings tons of changes and improvements all around, one of the best features has to be the new Dark Mode.

Dark Mode has been getting popular in the last few years. A Dark Mode or Night Mode makes it easier on the eyes as well as helps save battery of the devices having OLED displays. The new Chrome 74 update is available on platforms like Windows, Mac as well as Mac. It brings changes to the UI, menus, and Downloads window.

Unfortunately, Google has not given a simple toggle for enabling the Dark Mode on Chrome. However, users will need to follow these instructions to forcefully enable the new dark mode.
