Cryptocurrency is a lucrative endeavour in 2020

Since the inception of Bitcoins in 2009, cryptocurrencies have consistently proved to be an alchemy of investments that can transform little capital injections into lifetime fortunes. However, superficially scrutinizing the crypto market trends suggests that some periods of investments have been bumpy rides for some if not all investors.

For instance, a glimpse at any cryptocurrency chart between July 2018 and January 2019 suggests a timeframe of extravagant grief for most investors. During this time, most cryptocurrencies significantly declined in value, with a majority of them losing at least 50% of their prices.

So, is 2020 the right time to hop into cryptos and capitalize on their promising returns or will the year that is promising to be kind to us present months of measly returns on investments? Let’s find out.

Decentralized cryptocurrency platforms are now featuring smart contract functionalities

The idea of smart contracts did not begin with the inauguration of the Bitcoin in 2009. It came way before that, in 1994, and is an invention of Nick Szabo. Smart contracts are self-executing blockchain-based transactions that can help you exchange anything of value such as property, shares, or money transparently

Two decades later after Szabo’s discovery, Ethereum paved the way for the realization of smart contracts through cryptocurrencies. Since then, more cryptocurrencies such as Cardano have emerged as smart contract platforms; giving more credibility to virtual currencies.

Investing in cryptocurrency is more accessible than before

Initially, cash was the only means through which one could buy cryptocurrencies. As an investor in Bitcoin, for instance, you could meet your contacted seller at a downtown coffee shop and hand him or her a lump sum of fiat currency as Bitcoin was transferred to your wallet.

In 2020, it is pretty easy to buy xrp or any other crypto as there are several options of transacting including debit and credit cards, direct bank transfers, and online payment platforms such as Neteller and Skrill.

Governments institution in charge of fiat currencies are experimenting with the crypto wave

As time unfolds, the lists of countries launching their cryptocurrencies continue to grow. UAE, Russia, Sweden, and Japan are a few examples of countries with their virtual currencies already in place. In 2020, more states are likely to unveil and implement their cryptocurrencies roadmaps.

Initially, most countries banned and discouraged their citizens from investing and transacting in cryptos. The change in attitude by governments towards virtual currencies is, therefore, a plus for the blossoming alternative decentralized financial domain.

Despite market volatility, cryptocurrencies can surge in values in 2020

Overly, the factors mentioned above that include smart contracts, seamless investment processes, and support from governing bodies through the launching of their cryptos is almost pathologically helpful to the growth of virtual currencies in 2020.

Due to such developments, many investors across the globe are likely to view cryptos with less scepticism as experienced in the early days of virtual coins. Consequently, there is a high probability that the value of most cryptocurrencies will go through the roof in 2020, despite market volatility witnessed from time to time.

Do Detox Pills Work?

pills, detox pills
One of the most effective detox pills is called Stat Flush. (Image: Pixabay)

Toxins creep into the body in common and small ways, such as food or food packaging. However, any excess toxins which can’t be released properly can end up being deposited into your fat cells and can cause inflammation or illness. The more toxins in the body and fat cells, the harder it is to lose weight and the unhealthier you feel.

Detox, or also known as detoxification, is the process of cleaning the blood by removing toxins and contaminants from the blood in the liver. The liver is the organ where the toxins and impurities are processed for elimination. These toxins are then eliminated through different organs such as the skin, lymphatic system, kidneys, lungs, and intestines.

There are various reasons for detox, such as dieting or flushing unwanted supplements for medical tests. Detox diet, a popular way to lose weight, may involve fasting, drinking detox pills, or eating specific fruits and vegetables. This kind of diet, however, is typically short term as this can be risky in some instances.

Drug tests, especially those that are random and unexpected, can significantly impact one’s life and career. But if you suddenly find yourself in a jam, there is such a thing as detox pills. Some rely on detox pills when they have to be subjected to immediate tests such as drug tests. How do these detox pills work? Detox pills are supplements that aid the body in eliminating the toxins at a quicker rate than the normal and natural way. Ingredients included in the pills attach to the toxins, speed up the processing, and move out the toxins faster out of the body. Moreover, these pills conceal the presence of toxins in the saliva, urine, and blood.

One of the most effective detox pills is called Stat Flush. The Stat Flush Extra Strength Detox Pills detoxifies and cleans the urine momentarily to help you pass your screening. You have to remember, though, that the effect of this pill is temporary. After drinking the detox pills, your body will have a “clear zone” wherein the toxins or substances are stored temporarily in the fat cells, which ensures a clean result from a drug test. The “clear zone” starts in about 60- 90 minutes after the consumption of the capsules and persists for as long as 3- 4 hours. Take note of this window as traces of the toxins will show in your urine after four hours because by then, all the toxins that were pushed to your fat cells will start to return to your bloodstream. Stat Flush Pills can mask the traces of various substances in the body, including LSD, Heroin, Nicotine, Marijuana, and Cocaine.

Another vital thing to remember when you consume Stat Flush is to steer clear from caffeine for at least 72 hours. Caffeine intake or products that contain caffeine, such as coffee, tea, and soda, can affect and alter your desired results. Moreover, the best way to achieve a good result, it is suggested that you refrain from taking in any source of toxins and contaminants for at least 2 days before the drug test.

Microsoft ends Windows 7 support: Here's what you can do

Microsoft Windows 7 was launched back in 2009, which makes the operating system more than a decade old. Now, the OS is finally reaching its end of support, which means the company will stop providing free technical support and updates that include security patches. Microsoft now recommends that everyone should start shifting to the newer and much reliable operating system, Windows 10.

While Microsoft is ending support for Windows 7 starting January 14, Google still promises to support Chrome on Windows 7 laptops and PCs for the next 18 months. Windows 7 users will stop receiving updates for Google Chrome browser starting July next year.

What's next?

As the company has announced the end of support, Windows 7 will still continue to work on PCs that have it already installed. However, the company will not be responsible to fix any software vulnerabilities. This will make Windows 7 PCs more vulnerable to viruses and hacks. So, the ideal solution is to switch to the latest iteration of Windows.

If you are running a genuine copy of Windows 7, you are lucky. Microsoft is providing a free upgrade to users that can be downloaded using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool, which can be found on the company's website. While the free Windows 10 upgrade officially ended in 2016, it still works.

What is 5G and how will it benefit you?

5G, How will 5G benefit users, What is 5G, 5G India, 5G mobile phones, 5G smartphones
5G is almost here. But do you know how it will affect your daily life? Here's everything you need to know about it.

As of now, 4G is the best widely available telecommunication technology available across the globe. However, its been in use for over a decade. And the biggest news is that researches have been trying to improve it for the entire decade. Now, the improvement in telecommunications technology is just at the brink and we cannot wait for it to go global.

Selected carriers had started rolling out the next generation 5G technology in select cities around two years ago. Now, it is expected to see a global rollout this year. This will put the human civilization into the 5th generation of mobile communications.

As of now, it seems like there are more questions about 5G than there are answers. Many are wondering what is 5G and how will it impact our lives. Others are waiting for 5G services to launch in their area. Some are also wondering whether their phones will be able to run on a 5G network or not. Today, we will be answering all these questions.

What is 5G?

The first question that most of you might want to ask is, what is 5G?

The answer is pretty simple, 5G is the next generation of mobile broadband that will eventually replace or at least augment your 4G LTE connection much as 4G did to 3G almost a decade ago now.

The 5G network will bring exponentially faster download and upload speeds. This will also affect the latency/ping or in layman terms, the time taken to connect with a server in a positive manner.

How does 5G Work?

The next question that might arise in your mind is, how does the 5G network work?

There are several factors that affect how 5G works and it is very different from how traditional networks like 4G LTE work. One of the biggest factors is the spectrum. It works on different spectrum bands, which might not seem important to a layman, but will have a dramatic effect on daily usage.

The first one is the low-band spectrum, which can also be described as a sub 1GHz spectrum. Most 4G LTE network work on this and the bandwidth is nearly depleted, that's why we have started facing a number of network problems these days. It offers great coverage area and wall penetration capabilities, but the data speeds peak at 100Mbps.

Then there comes the mid-band spectrum, which provides faster speeds and lower latency compared to low-band networks. However, its wall penetration capabilities aren't so great when compared to the low-band spectrum. Users can expect speeds to peak at around 1Gbps.

Lastly, there is the high-band spectrum, which delivers the highest performance for 5G. However, all that power comes with a number of drawbacks. The high-band spectrum is referred to as mmWave. It can offer peak speeds of up to 10Gbps and has extremely low latency. All this sounds like a dream, but its coverage area and then wall penetration capabilities are not so good.

How fast 5G really is?

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specialized agency in the United Nations with the sole purpose of setting up technical standards for communication technologies. It also sets the rules for radio spectrum usage and telecommunications interoperability. The standards set by them for the 5G performance targets are as follows:

Peak data rate: 5G will offer significantly faster data speeds. At its peak, the data rates can hit up to 20Gbps downlink and 10Gbps uplink. That will be the speed shared by all the users from an endpoint. While the peak data rates for 5G sound pretty impressive, actual speeds won’t be the same. Users will experience up to 100Mbps download speeds and 50Mbps of upload speeds.

Latency: The time it takes data to travel from one point to another on the internet is known as the latency. In ideal circumstances, it should be around 4 milliseconds. In high priority cases, it can drop up to 1 millisecond. This will enable video calls in sensitive situations like surgeries.

Also Read: Asus Zenbook Pro Duo Review: A Whole Generation Ahead

Efficiency: Radio interfaces, in theory, will be energy efficient when in use, and will drop to a low-energy mode when not in use. In a perfect world, the change between low-energy mode and out of it should take less than 10 milliseconds.

Spectral efficiency: The optimised use of the spectrum and the bandwidth to maximise data transfer with minimum transmission errors is called the spectral efficiency. 5G theoretically should have a slightly improved spectral efficiency over 4G LTE.

Connection density: 5G networks should be able to support many more connected devices than LTE, thus having a way larger bandwidth. The standard states 5G will be able to support about 1 million connected devices per square kilometer. Considering the slew of IoT based devices launching every week, this absurdly high number is necessary for the future.

How will 5G improve our life?

Improve broadband: With so many people using the mobile broadband network with the bandwidth almost full, in order to continue using mobile broadband without any issues, the move to 5G is absolutely necessary. Also, there is an added benefit of speed. With increased bandwidths, we will see a lot more reliable networks.

Autonomous vehicles: We are expecting the rise of autonomous driving vehicles. In order to make sure it communicates with other vehicles on the road properly without any issue, 5G networks will help a lot.

Imagine, if the car brakes in front of you and that is communicated to your car and it brakes, it will save many lives. They can also communicate about traffic conditions and more, helping users decide the route in advance.

Remote device control: Since 5G support has remarkably low latency, remote controlling heavy construction machinery and more will become much easier. Keeping people out of harm's way while working in hazardous environments like mines.

Health care: The benefit of ultra-low latency extends in health care too. Things like telemedicine, remote recovery and physical therapy via AR, precision surgery and even remote surgery in the coming years might be a reality with 5G.
