Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo, is now working on a new mid-range smartphone that it will launch in India soon. The latest renders of the Oppo F11 Pro suggest that the smartphone will come with a 48-megapixel rear camera and a pop-up selfie camera. These renders also suggest that Oppo F11 Pro is just going to be a rebranded version of the Oppo R19 Pro.

According to 91Mobiles, these images are from an official press render of the upcoming Oppo F11 Pro. They showcase the device from the front as well as the back giving us a clear look of the phone's design its camera specifications. With the F11 Pro, the company is trying to compete against the Vivo's upcoming V15 Pro smartphone, which will equip a 48-megapixel rear camera and a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera.

However, unlike the Vivo V15 Pro, the upcoming F11 Pro will not have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The renders suggest that the phone has a capacitive fingerprint scanner at the back right below the camera setup. On the other hand, the camera setup is on a strip that falls from the top, which looks quite similar to the Vivo V15 Pro.

Without a doubt, just like most modern smartphones, the Oppo F11 Pro will come with a gradient back design. Also, as there is a pop-up cameral, the phone will even have a larger screen-to-body ratio. The phone is said to come with a MediaTek processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

IGTV videos to now be visible on your Instagram feed

Now Instagram will make sure you do not miss any IGTV videos

Instagram released a new feature called IGTV last year. The company is focusing on long portrait videos with the new feature and it wants to compete against a platform like YouTube. However, Instagram is not really doing well in grabbing most people's attention over to this feature. So, now they have decided to bring these videos on to a user's feed instead.

While scrolling through Instagram feeds, users will now also witness other people's IGTV videos. They will look like regular posts, but they will carry a tag in order to help people distinguish between a normal video and an IGTV video. Just like other posts, you will only see IGTV videos from the people you follow. Users will also see an option to watch the full video, which will open the video in full portrait from and play the whole video.

Notably, IGTV was initially started as a separate thing with having a separate application that users needed to install in order to watch the videos. However, to grab more attention, the company integrated the feature within their main Instagram application that millions of people already use. When even that failed to bring more views, the company is pulling out this trick where users will be forced to see at least one IGTV video.

While Instagram is trying to compete against Google's YouTube, the company is also trying to give users more options. Instagram stories can allow users to make 15-second videos, whereas posts allow a maximum limit of 1 minute. IGTV brings it one step ahead by allowing users to produce the maximum of a 10-minute video.

Google Chrome to soon get dark mode: Here's what you need to know

Google
Google is working on bringing dark mode to Google Chrome

Google recently announced that they will be rolling out a dark mode for their popular web browser, Google Chrome. The company will first make the changes to the Windows and Mac version of the application. According to a report by 9to5Google, the feature has been spotted on Chrome 74.

The company, however, has already released the dark mode in the Chrom Canary, which is an early experimental build of the web browser. The report further suggests that the dark mode feature is completely automatic. It gets activated once a user has switched the Windows theme to dark mode.

It seems that Google is also figuring out a way where users can intentionally toggle the dark mode feature only on the web browser without needing to tinker with the settings of the operating system. The dark mode will switch the UI elements of the application to a dark colour and the text will switch to white. Users can already make such changes by just installing a theme. But having an option in the settings make things much easier.

Google has been working hard lately on to making the dark mode a thing within their applications and their own operating system, Android. A recent report by XDA Developers suggests that Android Q will have a system-wide dark mode option available in the settings of the smartphone.

OnePlus could launch a 5G variant of the OnePlus 6T at MWC 2019

Mobile World Congress or MWC 2019 is just around the corner and for the first time, we are going to see the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus at the event. The company has already rolled out media invites for the upcoming event. The MWC 2019 is set to begin on February 25 and will go on until February 28.

OnePlus rolled out a couple of media invites for a meeting that will take place ahead of MWX 2019. The invite does not reveal much information and it reads “Reimagine the future with OnePlus.”

According to some recent reports, the company might be taking this opportunity to launch a new OnePlus TV, which will compete against Xiaomi's Mi TV by offering premium flagship design at a budget price. Notably, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau announced last year that they have plans on bringing such product to the market soon.

OnePlus earlier said, “It is a natural extension for OnePlus to address gaps in the television industry, which it tackled in the smartphone market - balancing high-quality hardware with the latest in technology, developing a seamless user experience, and crafting hardware that is minimalistic and timeliness in design.”

Apart from the OnePlus TV, the company might also unveil a 5G version of the OnePlus 6T as spotted on some earlier leaks. The smartphone will look similar to the regular variant but will carry the necessary internals for a 5G connection.
