Realme is soon going to launch its new Realme 6 smartphone in India. Now, we have got to know that the device will feature a 90Hz refresh rate display. Which would be a first in the price range. Take note that the Realme 6 would be a budget offering from the company, which would mean that its price will be under Rs 20,000. This hints that the company will most probably use an IPS display instead of an AMOLED panel to keep the costs down.

A Twitter user going by the handle, @Sudhanshu1414 in a tweet, which has since been deleted posted a promotional poster, showing Salman Khan holding a Realme 6 in a gradient white colour option along with listed features including a 90Hz refresh rate, 64MP quad camera setup and battery capacity (We do not remember the capacity of the battery). We were not able to take a screenshot of the poster, as we were just scrolling through our feed. However, we are trying to retrieve the tweet, and as soon as we do, we will be updating this article with a screenshot of the same.

The fact that the device might come with an IPS display panel, is backed by an earlier leak, which stated that the Realme 6 will come with a physical fingerprint scanner on the back.

To recall, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has posted a photo with Salman Khan on his Twitter, with the watermark "Shot on Realme 6 64-megapixel AI quad camera."

The device was recently also spotted on Singapore's IMDA [Infocomm Media Development Authority] database having a model number - RMX2001. The same model on the US FCC website stated that the device will come with a 4,300mAh battery.

The company has also said that due to its extensive global footprint, it is well-positioned to address the supply challenges.

Lenovo had put out a statement on Thursday, stating that it has faced short-term volatility and challenges, due to the coronavirus outbreak. However, it has managed to report better than expected quarterly profit and record revenue.

The company is facing disruptions in its supply chain after the government's decision to extend the Lunar New Year holidays, while at the same time imposing strict travel curbs to limit the spread of coronavirus.

This is a major problem for Lenovo, as one of the brand's biggest factories is located in the central city of Wuhan, which is also the epicentre of the outbreak.

Its factories located in Shenzhen and Hefei resumed production on February 10. The company in a statement has said that a vast majority of its factories in China have reopened and are currently operational on a limited basis. But at the same time, suppliers and logistics remain impacted across the country.
