Motorola Moto Z4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with an Adreno 612 GPU.
Motorola has launched its new Moto Z4 smartphone in the US and Canada. It is priced at $500 (approximately Rs 35,000) and will start shipping from June 13. It is yet unknown as to when the company will be launching the device in other countries including India.
Moto Z4 comes with regular 4G modems by default, however, you can use it as a 5G enabled smartphone too. To do this you will be required to snap-on the company's own 5G Moto Mod that will currently add support for Verizon's 5G network in the US.
The company states that the Moto Z4 will also support all of its existing Moto Mods like the 360-degree camera, battery pack, projector, speaker and more.
Moto Z4 sports a 6.4-inch OLED FullVision display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and it also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with an Adreno 612 GPU. The device comes with 4GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage.
It runs Google's Android 9.0 Pie operating system in its stock configuration. All of this is backed by a 3,600mAh non-removable battery with support for the company's own 15W TurboPower fast charging technology. Additionally, the 3.5mm headphone jack which was removed with the Moto Z3 has made a comeback.
In terms of optics, the Moto Z4 sports a 48-megapixel single camera module on the back. On the front, it features a 25-megapixel sensor placed inside of the waterdrop style notch for taking selfies.
Apple iPhone SE still has one of the best designs.
Since the iPhone X was released, Apple is concentrating on making their devices larger with no bezels and a notch. However, there are people who still prefer using a smaller form factor like the iPhone SE or the iPhone 8. Since iPhone SE is now available for under Rs. 20,000 bringing it to the mid-range category, let's find out if it is worth buying in 2019?
You can typically buy a new iPhone SE for a starting price of Rs. 16,999 or you can even save more money by going in for a pre-owned or refurbished device from websites like preloveddevices.com or ebay.in
Apple iPhone SE: Design
Apple iPhone SE was one of the last devices to sport the more iconic Apple design. It uses a metal chassis and a box-like design, which also makes it one of the last iPhones capable of standing straight on a table. Speaking of the lasts, the iPhone SE was the last iPhone to come with a headphone jack.
iPhone SE has a compact form factor.
The iPhone 5S looks more or less similar to the iPhone 5S as it is essentially the same phone with just internals borrowed from the iPhone 6S. Now, the internals is what make it much superior to the iPhone 5S and we will talk about it in our performance section below. Coming back to the design, the only way users can tell it apart from a 5S from the outside is the little SE logo beneath the iPhone branding at the back or if you have the Rose Gold variant.
Though the design feels quite outdated now with the chunky bezels and a smaller form factor, I personally still love it. It is much easier to use for people with small hands who just want to operate their phone using one hand.
Apple iPhone SE: Software
While the Apple iPhone SE was launched with iOS 9.3.2, the phone currently runs on the latest iOS 12.3.1 operating system. With the iOS 12 update, the company focused on making the older devices faster. Using the iPhone SE with the latest firmware was a charm. I did not notice any sort of lag or hiccups. The phone was able to run most applications seamlessly.
However, according to the list of compatible devices rolled out for the upcoming iOS 13, the iOS 12 might be the last major update for the smartphone. This comes with a surprise as the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus with essentially the same internals still made it to the list. We will need to wait until Apple officially announces iOS 13 to see whether the iPhone SE receives any further love or not.
Apple iPhone SE: Performance
The 4-year-old iPhone SE still manages to perform quite well. The smartphone was able to run most of the applications like WhatsApp, Twitter and Facebook seamlessly. However, when it came to gaming, I did not enjoy the experience as heavy games like PUBG Mobile stuttered a bit. It is, however, safe to say that apart from gaming, the phone will handle most tasks thrown at it.
Apple iPhone SE: Display
It comes with relatively smaller a 4-inch display.
The iPhone SE looks pretty small when you compare it to some of the average sized smartphones of 2019. It sports a 4-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 640x1136 pixels. While the resolution might seem quite low, it is pretty usable due to the lower screen size. However, you might not enjoy movies or videos as much as you could on a similarly priced Android smartphone.
When it comes to the camera, the iPhone SE will not be able to justify the price you will pay for it in 2019. We did a side by side comparison with the similarly priced Redmi Note 7 Pro and the images clearly speak for themselves.

In the era of triple-camera setups, the iPhone SE's 12-megapixel rear camera is just not enough.
Apple iPhone SE: Verdict
In a nutshell, iPhone SE is a good option for those looking for a compact smartphone or a secondary phone. It is also a good option for those who really want to test out iOS and do not have deep pockets. However, if you are not one of those people we would highly recommend considering some other options like Redmi Note 7 Pro or the Poco F1, both of which offer great value for your money.
Asus ZenBook Pro Duo comes with a 4K OLED display.
Computex is an event for computer nerds where all the companies gather around and showcase their developments and upcoming products. At this Computex 2019, companies from Asus to Intel had a lot to showcase and a lot of that stuff was exciting. So, here everything exciting that happened at the Computex 2019.
Asus ZenBook Pro Duo
Asus has the most limelight at the laptops section at Computex 2019. Their new Asus ZenBook Pro Duo laptop comes with an interesting design, which uses two displays. The primary one is a 4K OLED panel, whereas the second one is a 4K IPS panel. The laptop is powered by the Intel Core i9-9980HK processor coupled with the Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics card.
AMD Ryzen
AMD Ryzen 3000 series are more powerful than ever.
AMD released Ryzen CPUs almost two years ago and today at the Computex 2019, they finally unveiled the third generation of Ryzen processors. The all-new 3000 series processors are based on the 7nm processor that helps in improved performance and power efficiency. The company also released the first consumer-focused 12 core, 24 thread CPU.
Apart from the new Ryzen processors, the company also launched the new Radeon RX5700, which is built on AMD’s latest Navi architecture. According to the company, the RX5700 will compete directly against Nvidia's RTX 2070. Moreover, they also claim that their new GPU will offer 10 per cent better performance than the RTX 2070.
Intel 10th Gen
Intel 10th gen CPUs are code named Ice Lake.
Just like AMD, Intel has also come up with a whole new generation of CPUs. The company showcased its 10th Gen Intel Core processors at the Computex 2019. Apart from that, Intel also launched a new special edition Intel Core i9-9900KS processor which is cable of delivering 5GHz on all of its cores.

Nvidia RTX Quadro series is for the professionals
Nvidia recently launched the RTX series of graphics card with ray-tracing capabilities. The company has now brought the series to professionals with the latest RTX Quadro 5000, 4000 and 3000 GPUs.
While smartphone manufacturers have started rolling out 5G phones, laptops are not that far behind. Lenovo showcased a prototype laptop that uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx chipset and it is capable of running internet directly off a 5G SIM card. Moreover, the new Snapdragon chipset is much powerful than the Intel Core i5 8th Gen CPU.
OnePlus 6 and 6T finally get Zen Mode via Open Beta.
With the new OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer also announced a couple of new software-based features. The company promised it will be bringing some of the features to the older devices as well. Now, OnePlus has finally rolled out a new Open Beta update, which brings both, the new Zen Mode as well as the Screen Recorder.
OnePlus 6 will get these features with the new Open Beta 19 update, whereas, the OnePlus 6T will get them with Open Beta 11. The updates have been rolled out which means people already on the Open Beta ROM should receive the update over-the-air.
As far as the changelog is concerned, the OnePlus 6 and 6T will get Screen Recorder and Zen Mode features with the new update. Apart from that, the update brings an improved smooth-scrolling experience. It also brings support for VoLTE/VoWiFi for Telia Denmark. Further, the bug where Facebook messenger pops up notifications when in gaming mode has been fixed and the logic of dialling a contact while using two SIM cards has been optimised. Indian OnePlus 6/6T users will now also get the ability to Pin-to-top a message from the notification category.
So, if you are excited to check out these new interesting features right away, you can head over to the OnePlus software upgrade section to download the latest OxygenOS OpenBeta ROM for your smartphone.
If you feel adventurous and want to flash the Open Beta, follow the instructions here. Do note however that once you are on that track you will no longer receive the stable updates (only new betas), and if you ever want to go back to stable you will need to fully wipe all the data on your device.
Samsung Galaxy M40 comes with an Infinity O Display.
With Samsung taking the Chinese smartphone competition seriously, the company is gearing up to launch the fourth smartphone under its new M-series. According to the teasers, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M40 will come with a punch hole design and a triple rear camera setup.
Samsung India has confirmed that it will be launching the smartphone in the country on June 11, 2019. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Amazon India.
Apart from the Infinity O Display and triple rear camera setup, the company has also teased that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series processor will be powering the show. It will make the Galaxy M40 the first Galaxy M-series smartphone to come with a Qualcomm processor instead of the company's in-house Exynos.
According to a recent report by IANS, the Samsung Galaxy M40 will come with a price tag of around Rs. 25,000. However, I personally feel if the company is able to pull off a more aggressive price, it will be able to put all other smartphones in the price range to shame.
As far as the other specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and feature a Super AMOLED panel. The phone will also come with 6GB of RAM and it will be backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery. Unlike the other M-series devices, this one will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Samsung's new One UI skin on top of it.
iPod Touch now comes with the Apple A10 Fusion chipset.
Apple has just announced its new generation of iPod Touch devices. While they carry the same old design, they have been upgraded internally with the Apple A10 Fusion chip. For context, it is the same chip used in the iPhone 7. Though the iPod Touch is available at a starting price of Rs. 18,990, here's why it does not make sense in 2019.
It's just an iPod
After spending around Rs. 18,990, all you are getting is an iPod. Though it can be a great option for kids, we would still recommend going in for a smartphone at around that price as it can bring much more than just the ability to listen to music or watch videos. Also, most phones in the price range have better cameras than what the Apple iPod touch has on offer.
Go in for an iPhone SE
Apple iPhone SE is a better option overall.
The 32GB variant of the Apple iPhone SE is available at around Rs. 16,999. The smartphone brings the Apple A9 chipset and currently runs on the latest iteration of iOS. While it is cheaper than the new iPod Touch, it also brings most of its features along with the ability to put a SIM card in it. You can listen to the music on the go using a 4G network and even make calls from the iPhone SE.
If not the iPhone SE, we would recommend spending a little extra and grab the Apple iPad (6th Gen), which is currently available for around Rs. 25,999. It is a much better media consumption device as it has a larger display and a better battery life.
Oppo has finally brought the recently launched Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition smartphones to India. The smartphones come with great specifications and a sharkfin style pop-up selfie camera. If you do not like Oppo for some reason, here are some of the alternatives you can consider at the price range.
OnePlus 7
OnePlus 7 also comes in this attractive Mirror Red colour.
OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 7 and OenPlus 7 Pro smartphones in India. While the OnePlus 7 Pro is a more expensive option, the OnePlus 7 is a great alternative to the Oppo Reno due to its pricing. The flagship device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. It is currently available in India for a starting price of Rs. 32,999.
Google recently launched its all-new budget Pixel device, the Google Pixel 3a. It brings the Pixel 3's great camera at an affordable price. When you compare the specs, the Pixel 3a might not be able to stand out. However, when it comes to camera performance, the phone can give some serious competition. It is available in India for a starting price of Rs. 39,999.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 still packs in a punch.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might be a two-year-old flagship by now, but it still packs in a punch. Currently available at around Rs. 36,990, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a lot on offer. The phone brings exciting features like a Super AMOLED display, S-Pen and much more.
Honor has just unveiled the Honor 20 Pro but the Honor View 20, which was launched a few months ago still makes a compelling option. The smartphone comes with the same flagship Kirin 980 processor and also has the same 48-megapixel camera at the back. Honor View 20 is available with a price tag of Rs. 37,999.
Vivo Nex
Vivo Nex comes with a pop-up selfie camera
If you desperately want a pop-up selfie camera smartphone, you can consider the Vivo Nex, which is available at just Rs. 39,990. The smartphone comes with flagship grade specifications including the Snapdragon 845 processor and 8GB of RAM.
Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has finally launched the much-awaited Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones in China. While there is no information as of when these phones will arrive in India, here are some of the alternatives you can look for until the all-new Redmi K20 makes it to the Indian shelves.
Poco F1
Xiaomi Poco F1 is one of the best smartphones in the price segment.
While the Poco F1 might not be the most appealing in terms of looks, it is the most powerful one in the price segment. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. It packs in up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Xiaomi Poco F1 is currently available at a starting price of Rs. 19,990.
Samsung Galaxy A50
Samsung Galaxy A50 sports an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Samsung Galaxy A50 has a lot to offer for a starting price of Rs. 19,999. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a Super AMOLED display. It is powered by the Exynos 9610 processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with a triple camera setup at the back and a waterdrop style notch up front.
Redmi Note 7 Pro
Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 48-megapixel camera at the back.
While the Redmi Note 7 Pro is not as interesting as the Redmi K20, the smartphone from the same company still brings a great set of cameras and a decent performance. The device comes with a 6.3-inch FullHD+ display with a waterdrop style notch up front. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. It is available at a starting price of Rs. 13,999.
Asus ZenFone 5Z still looks modern with the notched display design.
Asus is currently offering its last year's flagship smartphone, the ZenFone 5Z for a starting price of just Rs. 24,999. It makes a great deal considering the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. It also sports a glass sandwich design with a notched display up front.
If you are a fan of gimmicks over performance, then you will love the Vivo V15 Pro. It comes with a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera and the 5th generation in-display fingerprint scanner. The device also sports a 48-megapixel camera at the back. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 coupled with 6GB of RAM. All of this comes in at a price of Rs. 26,990.
PUBG Mobile can get easier with these tips and tricks.
PUBG or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is one of the most popular battle royale games right now. The mobile version of the game called PUBG Mobile is even more popular as it is free to play and almost everyone has a smartphone these days. While there are a lot of tips and tricks out there, these are some of the most important ones that can help you easily grab that Chicken Dinner.
It's a Team Effort
Team effort always ends up with Chicken Dinner.
While everyone prefers to be the best, sometimes you need to listen to the calls made by your teammates. When looking for Duo or Squad matches, make sure you know everyone in your team as that is how you are going to trust them. Once you are in a match, communicate properly and listen to your teammate's calls. Your ego can get you killed and end up in a loss for your team.
Play it on PC
Though this might not be the best advice, playing PUBG Mobile on PC using an emulator might make the game a little easier. However, it will give you an edge over the other players as the controls on a PC are much better than controlling everything using a touchscreen.
Use grenades
Grenades are one of the most essential things.
PUBG Mobile is a little easier than PUBG PC as it allows auto-pickup. The feature basically picks up all the important stuff from the loot. However, it does skip on to grenades and a few other stuff that can be useful. So, make sure you have a good look around and grab those grenades. A smoke grenade can be used to exit from a place where as a HE grenade can easily harm an enemy hiding inside a building.
Players should prefer to have different types of weapons.
If you feel you are good with AKM, it does not mean that you will pick two of them. Try to pick a variety of weapons so that you can use them in different case scenarios. It is also recommended that the two guns you pick should use a different type of ammo so that in case you run out of the one you can rely on the other. The best setup would be a sniper for long range and a rifle for those close fights.
Don't loot, first scope
Once we notice a flare gun shot or a drop coming down, we immediately rush on to it. However, you should not go and first loot the drop. First, observe it from a distance and when you see some enemies, kill them. This way you will get some kills as well as the loot.
Here's how you can get rid of Microsoft Edge on Windows 10.
Browsers play a major role in today's world of computing. While Microsoft tries hard every year to make their default Windows browser better, people still prefer using third party ones like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. However, it is not as easy as it used to be to change your default browser. Here's how you can do it right away.
In older version of Windows like Windows 7, changing the default browser was just one click after you run the freshly installed browser for the first time. While it is a bit more than just one click on Windows 10, it is not as difficult either. So, follow the steps below to change your default browser from Microsoft Edge.
How to change Windows 10 default browser
First, install a third-party browser that you would like to keep as your default browser. If it is already installed, skip this step.
Now head over to Windows 10 settings by tapping on the Windows icon and typing "Settings"
Once you are in the Windows settings, head over to "Apps"
Click on the "Default apps" tab and look for Web Browser
Now click on the browser and choose the desired one from the given list.
If you have followed the steps correctly, you should be finally free from the Microsoft Edge browser. You can come here and change the browser to another one or back to Edge whenever you want.
