Most applications and websites have started showing spam in one or the other way. Companies like Xiaomi spam users with multiple notifications on the mid-range Redmi smartphones. While that was acceptable considering the phones were cheap, Google also started spamming users through the Calendar app.
Google Calendar has been spamming users for quite some time now and it has just come into the eyes of most users. It happens due to a default setting that Google has made inside the application. While you can disable this setting to get rid of the spams, most users do not know how to do that.
Go to the Event settings section and then click the menu labelled "Automatically add invitations"
From the drop-down menu, select "No, only show invitations to which I have responded"
In case you are shocked by how such a big company is doing something like this, you need to know that its not entirely Google's fault. Spammers simply send out email invites to Gmail users and Google automatically adds them to the user's calendar without the need to confirm or accept it.
A lot of people would want that the setting should be set at "Automatically add invitations." The reason behind it is that if a friend, partner or colleague shares a calendar event, it can be automatically added to the user's calendar. However, it will bring its own disadvantages with it.

However, we expect the company to make it available on the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10 series first, followed by the S9 series and the Note 9. It might also update some of its Galaxy A-series and Galaxy M-series smartphones in-between. But, we standby the fact that these updates will not come quickly and Samsung will take its time in releasing them, indicated by its past patterns of Android system updates.
OnePlus phones Android 10 update
A number of Oneplus smartphones including OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are already a part of Google's Android Q Beta program. All of these smartphones will be getting the Android 10 update soon after launch.
When it comes to HMD Global manufactured Nokia branded smartphones, the company has been quite consistent in providing customers with regular software updates. All of the Nokia branded phones have been launched under Google's Android One program, which means they are guaranteed to get the latest Android updates.

Huawei phones Android 10 update
Huawei is the most controversial company on this list considering we are not sure that the company might be able to use Android in the near future due to the US-trade ban on it. Huawei Mate 20 Pro is listed under Google's Android Q beta program, which indicates that the device will be one of the first devices company will roll out the update to. Rest we don't know which all of the company's devices will get the Android 10 update.
Vivo phones
Vivo X27, Vivo NEX S and Vivo NEX A, none of them is available in India, however, all of them are a part of the Android Q beta program and will get the Android 10 update soon after its public launch.

Samsung has recently launched its new generation of the Galaxy Note series. While the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 supports the new 25W charging, the Note 10+ gets support for faster 45W charging. Even though the bigger variant supports faster charging, it comes with a 25W charger inside the box. So, if you are looking to get the 45W charger, you should get it only from Samsung and here's why.
In short words, it is just like proprietary services like OnePlus Warp Charge, Huawei SuperCharge and the Oppo VOOC Charge, where manufacturers suggest users getting a particular adapter and using it with a particular cable. Samsung Galaxy Note 10+'s fast charging depends on the combination of high current requirements and the use of optional PPS technology.
Even if other brands come up with 45W fast charging adapters, they might not work as well with the all-new Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. To understand why that happens, we will need to take a deep dive into the world of USB.
The basic form of USB charging is called PDO. While USB typically supports 5V, USB PD brings support for 9V, 15V and 20V. Samsung is using 10V in order to put it with 4.5A of power and produce 45W output. However, most 45W chargers available will request for 15V at 3A. Due to the difference in volts and ampere, the Galaxy Note 10+ will not detect the fast charging thus charging the phone at a lower speed.
While there might be good options available in the third-party market in the coming future, for now, it is recommended to spend some extra cash and stick with the original Samsung 45W charger.
OnePlus has been on the news lately due to their upcoming announcement of the OnePlus TV. Apart from the TV, the company is also gearing up to launch the next generation of smartphones, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro. Unlike the past launches, this time around the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is planning to launch the new smartphones in September.
OnePlus TV
Just like other Chinese brands, OnePlus is also trying to diversify its portfolio by not only launching smartphones but also other products. The brand is now trying to enter the Smart TV space by launching its own 55-inch Android TV.
A screenshot of the "About TV" settings page of the OnePlus TV has been leaked on the internet and it gives us some necessary details about the television. To begin with, it comes with a 1920x1080 panel and runs on Google's Android 9 Pie operating system. It further suggests that the TV will be powered by the MediaTek MT5670 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM under the hood.
OnePlus 7T
While the company has been launching two phones a year, they just changed the tradition by launching the OnePlus 7 Pro. So now, instead of two phones a year, they will be launching a total of four phones in a year. The Pro variant will carry all the bells and whistles and compete directly against flagships like the Galaxy Note or the iPhone whereas the regular variant will target the audience shopping on a budget.
The renders of the OnePlus 7T have already started to show up. The phone is expected to come with a triple camera setup at the back. Upfront, it will bring back the same design we saw on the 6T and the 7. Apart from that, the processor and RAM options are expected to be the same as the OnePlus 7.
It is being said that the company might launch a OnePlus 7T McLaren "Senna" Edition as well. Just like last year, it will carry a different colour scheme and design on the back and it might also bring some extra features over the regular variant.
OnePlus 7T Pro
Since the T variants are usually incremental upgrades, the OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to carry a lot of 7 Pro traits. It is said to come with the same curved 90Hz high-resolution display. It might come with the upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. Also, there might be a 5G variant of the smartphone in certain markets as well.
The above-mentioned devices are expected to launch on September 26 and go on sale by October 15. However, all of this can be taken with a pinch of salt and we will have to wait to see what the company actually has been cooking in the kitchen.
Samsung has recently unveiled its much-awaited Galaxy Note 10 series across the globe. While the smartphone has not even started shipping yet in some parts of the world, we are already seeing leaks and rumours of their upcoming flagship models. So, here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 series.
As this is quite early to discuss the upcoming flagship, we cannot really get a lot of details about them. Google announced a new version of Android a few months ago. The company has already released the beta version fo the smartphone for dozens of smartphones. Now, Google is gearing up to officially launch the operating system, which also means that it is that time of the year when they announce the name of the next Android. Unlike the past years, the company is now ditching alphabets or dessert names for just plain numbers.
Till now, Android versions have been arranged in alphabetical order and the company has named them with desserts of corresponding alphabets. While most people loved it, there were people who found it difficult to pronounce some of those dessert names. So, the company has now decided to go with just plain numbers, which means that the Android Q will be known as Android 10. Since the rebranding has been made, the upcoming versions of Android will also be called Android 11, Android 12 and so on.
Currently, there are over 2.5 billion active Android devices over the world. Since it is being used worldwide, Google not only has to consider the people in the US but also people living in Italy, Russia or even India.
The old naming convention could have been difficult to understand for new users as they would not know if their phone is running on the latest version or not. Also, there were other confusions like pies are not a dessert in some places and marshmallows are not a popular treat in many parts of the world.
Apart from that, Google also went ahead and updated the age-old Android logo. The new logo now only shows off the head of the Android instead of the full body. The company has also changed the green colour a bit to make it a little more understandable.
